Melissa and Richard’s wedding was a real family affair, with relatives coming from as far afield as Canada, to help them celebrate. The reception was at one of my favourite venues – Taitlands, near Settle, and the marriage ceremony was at Broughton Chapel, part of the Broughton Hall Estate near Skipton.
The wedding had a laid-back, country feel; lots of thought had gone into the styling of the day. I especially liked the knitted bunting and the ‘Pimp my Prosecco’ table. Very cute.
Make-up artist Victoria Edwards did a fab job with Melissa’s make-up… and I can confirm it still looked immaculate at 8pm. Melissa’s gorgeous flowers were arranged by Emma, who owns Taitlands; a woman of many talents! Take a look, they were exquisite.
And who needs a Rolls Royce when you can rock up at church in an old VW Campervan?
It was a lovely day, with lovely people. If you fancy seeing a few more pics, scroll away.
Congratulations, Melissa and Richard… enjoy your (extended) honeymoon!
