After last week’s fun Mehndi party in Leeds it was time for Laura and Was to get down to the business of getting married. The whole day, including the ceremony, was held at Newburgh Priory; a beautiful place in the tiny village of Coxwold near York.
Laura’s bridesmaids said she has impeccable taste, which she clearly does; from her dress and hair, to the styling of the tables which were decorated with vibrant pink flowers and coloured glass vases and bottles. Marquees aren’t always the cosiest of places either but this one was; with sofas and blankets at one end and candles and fairy lights dotted all over to give it a warm and cosy feel.
It was a fabulous day… and don’t they make a gorgeous couple?! And lucky me, I’m photographing them again for the Muslim ceremony over in Halifax.
Congratulations Laura and Was (and see you on Saturday!).
