David and Gill

GILL AND DAVID BLOG-109
David and Gill’s wedding a couple of weeks back was at another of my favourite venues: the¬†Shireburn Arms near Clitheroe in Lancashire. Great staff, great views and great grub; what more do you need?

STYLING

David and Gill wanted the wedding to have a relaxed, autumnal feeling so they got Chris in from Beautifully Vintage to work her magic. Baker extraordinaire, Kelly, from Sugar Wishes was on hand to make sure the seasonal theme didn’t stop with the decor, excelling herself with one of her now trademark ‘naked cakes’. Deanna from Deannamic Designs came up with the cute table plan, although I’m not sure how you’d describe it; decoupage, I think? Deanna, help me out!

Gill looked fabulous, managing to somehow glide around in her sky high Jimmy Choos. Was she still gliding after I’d left in the evening; I’m guessing not! Also, not forgetting some of the most photogenic kids I’ve ever met, especially David and Gill’s gorgeous daughter Esme. Those eyes!

Congratulations, Mr and Mrs Otaru. I hope you enjoyed your ‘familymoon’.

Here are a few more pictures to remind you of the day.

Amazing pictures Anna. As Chris has said you’ve captured everything perfectly. I loved this couple from the minute I met them. Very easy to work with. I miss them. And that gorgeous little Esme… How beautiful.

Yes, David and Gill were lovely to work with… and Esme; so cute.
I look forward to seeing some of your gorgeous designs again… I think this table plan was one of my favourites. Still no idea how you did it though. Clever woman!
